Back in 2018 at the age of 30 I came to the realization that nutrition was extremely important if you wanted to live an suburban life without modern transportation costs. This lesson took place after I pulled both of my leg muscles at the very same time after running many miles a day to where the town I lived was located and back home again in the Florida heat every day on top of that practicing skateboarding kickflips and tableskating without the correct amount of daily nutrition. I genuinely thought that the fat stored on my body would be enough to aid my muscles, but boy was I wrong about that. I think I thought that because I remember someone stating that fat could be turned into muscle.
I remember purchasing the cheapest bicycle I could find online only to have one of its tires go flat and later its geared breaking system to completely fail causing its crank axle bearings to self destruct leaving me stranded. Although riding a bike every day saved me some energy it was still pretty hard on my recently rehabilitated quadriceps. Out of pure dumb luck I saw a little kid in my neighborhood riding a ripstick and noticed how he was able to travel forwards just by simply balancing his body while moving his feet back and forth and soon wondered if riding a skateboard in a similar manner could yield better overall transportation costs and more importantly help me save some much desired leg agilities so that I could have more opertunities to practice the sports I loved.
So long story short, if you are dealing with some type of lower body muscle faliure do to the extra extra skateboarding day-to-day activities, have no way to get from point A to point B economically, and barely have enough food to stay alive....then your best option available would by far be "Cross Country Carving".
Not only will this method of skateboard transportation help you fix your unwanted muscle fatigue, but also has the potential to improve upon the balance of your switch and regular stance riding abilities, not to mention all of those dreaded gas, auto expenses, and insurance premiums.
Note: The only downside to "Cross Country Carving" is that it is much slower than riding a bicycle but still much faster than walking which will in turn wear your shoes way faster.
